Café Revò Ristorante was created by West Seattle Residents; Chef Sean Goff and Sofia Zadra Goff. Café Revò offers the people of West Seattle and the entire region a dining experience that is both familiar and extraordinary. Sofia’s grandparents came from the picturesque village of Revò, in the Italian Alps. Located in the scenic Valley of Non, Revò is surrounded by spectacular views of the Dolomite Alps, as well as long-cultivated vineyards featuring locally famous wines. Café Revò will reflect the friendly “hometown” ambiance and culinary tradition of this unique and beautiful area. Chef Sean visited Italy numerous times to study local food and wine, from Rome to Revò. He literally cooked along side of local “experts,” learning family recipes handed down from generations. Chef Sean was experienced in the cuisine of our own Pacific Northwest, having been a chef in the Seattle area for 25 years. He was always looking for new and innovative ways of delighting the Northwest palate. Chef Sean passed away unexpectedly on September 17, 2009. He leaves behind a well trained staff, trained in the traditions and recipes of Northern Italy. Sofia continues to run Café Revò Ristorante as a legacy to Chef Sean, for their children Fiore and Maya and her family from Revò. Café Revò welcomes all of their guests as family, in a warm tradition of hospitality that has been handed down for centuries. The local motto is, Mangia, bevi e godi! “Eat, drink and enjoy!” With the experienced management team, Chef Andrew Ingram and the wonderful Café Revò staff, Sofia will be looking forward to welcoming you to their home at Café Revò.
